Highlights

Location: Easy walking distance to Holyhead Port

Rooms: Late Victorian guest rooms with ensuite facilities

Dining: Welcoming continental self-service breakfast

Facilities: Electric car charging points available

Accessibility: Ground floor ensuite twin room available

“Witchingham B&B presents a mixed impression. While the Victorian building and its proximity to Holyhead Port are appealing, reports of mold and musty rooms give me pause. I appreciate the electric car charging and bicycle storage, yet the self-service breakfast seems a small consolation given the reported issues.”

excellent locationcomfortable bedsclothes dryingonsite staff
The location was excellent for the ferry (very important for early departures). The beds were comfortable, i found that the self serve breakfast was good.
I found no good solution when i needed to dry clothes. The staff are available by phone or text but no one is on site (it would have been nice to speak to someone face to face).

adequate stay overall

spacious roomgood showertea selectioncontactless servicesmall bedold smell
the room was spacious (plenty of room to move around). the shower was good too. i appreciated the inclusion of tea, coffee, milk, and a kettle in the room. it was like a nice touch.
i found the b&b to be contactless. the host was only reachable by phone. the bed was small, not ideal (i'm not particularly tall). the room also had a slightly old smell.
